How the course works

You’ll build your skills step by step, starting with awareness and finishing with realistic pressure-tested training.

  • Learn how to spot danger early and become more switched on to your surroundings.

  • Understand how to reduce risk, create space, and make better decisions before things escalate.

  • Learn simple, effective self-defence responses designed for real-world situations.

  • Practice your skills in realistic drills that help bridge the gap between technique and application.

  • In the final stage, put your skills to the test under controlled pressure so you leave with greater confidence.

Your Instructor

With a military background and early experience in Chinese boxing, I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to self-defence.

I hold an HND in Personal Training and am qualified in a range of fitness disciplines, including BodyPump and BodyBalance. I have experience in teaching and leading large fitness classes, developing a clear, confident, and supportive coaching style.

I have trained in Krav Maga for over four years and completed my instructor training through Krav Maga Israel under Ron Engelman, focusing on practical, pressure-tested self-defence.

My teaching is structured, realistic, and accessible to all — helping people build confidence, awareness, and the ability to act decisively when it matters.

This course is designed to give you simple, effective skills that work in real-life situations.
